It all started on December 11, 2023, when Sandeep Maheshwari posted a video on his Youtube channel with the title BIG SCAM EXPOSED.
Maheshwari uploaded a video in which three people complained about an online course taught by another popular YouTuber. They said they paid a lot of money—approximately Rs 35,000–50,000 for the course—but learned very little. They felt like they had wasted their money.
The students said that the course promised they would become entrepreneurs. However, after completing the course, they were asked to sell products for someone else. One student also alleged that it was just a multi-level marketing operation. They further claimed that the YouTuber charged up to Rs 10 lakh for other courses. All three students stated that they could not get a refund after making their purchases.
What Sandeep Maheshwari Said: Selling a course or a combo course to someone who needs it is not a scam. However, selling it with false promises could be a scam. Not refunding money for an overpriced and useless combo is a scam. Most importantly, asking that person to sell it to others is definitely a scam.
